Mrs. Engel graduated from Redeemer University College with a Bachelors of Christian Education.  Her major was English and she minored in Psychology.  During her time at Redeemer she enjoyed two teaching placements.  The first was a grade five class and the second was a grade one/two split class.  In September of 2000 she began teaching at a Christian school.  She taught kindergarten for nine years and then the next year she taught a JK/Kindergarten/Grade1 split class.  This year at RCA she will teach Junior and Senior Kindergarten. 

“One of the things I love most about teaching is seeing the excitement on my students' faces as they read their first words.  I also enjoy teaching the children about butterflies as they watch caterpillars become beautiful butterflies.    In my free time I like to read and have just started running this year."
