We are starting to put packages together for our second annual golf marathon. This event is the major fundraiser for the CAFÉ Fund. This fund provides financial support to parents in need to enable their children to receive an education at RCA.

We have a significant number of children at RCA who are benefitting from support through this fund, their ability to stay at RCA is determined by our ability to assist in the funding of their tuition through this event. Please do not underestimate the importance of this initiative to the RCA community. If you would like to participate in this event in any way please contact Thomas Hopkins.

It is hard to believe that the year is almost over and summer holidays will start soon. Please mark your calendars to come and celebrate the end of the year with us. This event is one of celebration to mark the successful completion of year two at RCA, to celebrate the RCA community "small school, big family", and to stand for a moment and send some sparkles up into the sky for Isabel – our original Legacy Angel – and others who may have left this earth with a piece of your heart.

As in previous years we will ask you to pay $5 per person or $20 per family to cover the cost of the food – the fireworks are donated by the Warren Family and the Oskams very generously allow us to use their farm to hold the event. This is a unique event and one which really captures the spirit of RCA – we look forward to seeing you all there.

This year Mrs. Brombal and Mrs. Warren will be away with the Gr.8s in the days preceding the event so we would REALLY appreciate some volunteers to step forward and organize it for us. Please let Sue or Lisa know if you are willing to "step up and fill the gap" With thanks.
