BOARD MEMBERS

Mrs. Warren - Chairperson and Co-Founder

With a passion for education and a deep love of children, God led Mrs. Warren to use her eclectic career path (which included investment banking, legal work, marketing, writing and various past board positions) to initiate and steer the development of Resurrection Christian Academy.  Mrs. Warren was a full time volunteer working on the RCA Board in the capacity of Treasurer for 10 years and now remotely as a board member.

"I believe that there are few gifts that parents can give to their children that they will take with them through life - a high quality Christian education is one of them.  My parents made financial sacrifices to ensure that I had the best possible education and my life has been enriched as a result.  The opportunities offered to RCA students are similar to mine from an academic point of view,  but are greatly enhanced by the Christian teaching environment and the wonderful opportunities to give back to the community."

Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9

Mrs. Brombal - Vice Chair & Co-Founder

Mrs. Brombal comes from a banking background and became a stay at home mom when her fourth child was born.  All her children went to Christian schools and now her daughter is teaching at a Christian school.  Mrs. Brombal is a full time volunteer and is head of fundraising.

"I believe in Christian Education and that is why my husband and I chose Christian Education for our five children. There isn’t a better gift you can give your children than a safe environment where they can learn and be accepted and loved for who they are. I feel each day is a gift when I walk the halls and I hear laughter, giggles and excitement of student’s enjoying their days here at Resurrection!"

“I couldn’t imagine doing anything else at this time in my life. I know that God has put me here for a reason and my job is to be obedient to Him.  I do my best to live by Philippians 3:12:14, and having the chance to influence so many young lives has become such a blessing in my life. THANK YOU!"

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Jesus Christ.   Philippians 3:12-14

Ms. Soo - Treasurer

With 20 years as a finance professional including 15 years as a Chartered Professional Accountant and having worked in the non-profit field and in past board roles, Ms. Soo believes that she has now been called to the RCA Board to be the current Treasurer.

“I firmly believe that all children are a gift from God and through a nurturing Christian environment each child is able to discover that they are complete and whole with the blessings bestowed upon them.”

Do not worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. Philippians 4:6-7
