Mrs. Hallock’s education began in Christian education and truly believes Christian education makes a difference in the lives of the students as it did for her. She had many placements and teaching experiences in public schools within Ontario and realized quite quickly she wanted to teach in a Christian school environment. Resurrection Christian Academy offers a space for children to feel safe and understood, and when a child feels safe and understood the best learning happens. At RCA we pour into our students and instill in them that they are a child of God, made in His image and who are dearly loved by their Heavenly Father. More than anything we strive to create a safe place where our students can grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually without limitations.
Mrs. Hallock has two young children and enjoys camping in their trailer in the summer and adventurous activities, where they can enjoy the sunshine and swimming. She also enjoys baking, cooking, and shopping.

Working closely with children for many years has shown her the importance of lifelong learning and nurturing a collaborative environment between teacher and student.
"For me, one of the most inspiring aspects of education has been its ability to create community across diverse groups, creating opportunities to learn about Christ and faith, while incorporating elements of my creativity into the classroom. It is through each of these pieces that I feel students and teachers can connect best and learn together. I am looking forward to making these connections and building these relationships in the upcoming school year at RCA."

Though Miss Guenther’s desire for education and teaching stemmed from music, she has grown to love and appreciate all forms of education, and is absolutely ecstatic to have her own classroom this year!
Miss Guenther’s inspiration for teaching began in her secondary years, and being so incredibly inspired by teachers that had touched her heart and impacted her in positive ways. Now that she has decided to pursue education as a career path for herself, she desires to impact the lives of her students in the same way that she felt so inspired by the teachers in her life.
Growing up, Miss Guenther was raised in a Christian household and has always been very involved in various church ministries, including worship teams, church productions, and children’s programs. Along with fostering and nurturing students' emotional, cognitive, and academic growth, she believes that fostering spiritual growth is of utmost importance, especially within a class environment. Having her personal school experiences within the public school environment, she felt that there was always something missing. Miss Guenther strives to create an accepting environment in her classroom, where all children truly know that they are loved and accepted by their Heavenly Father.
In her personal life, Miss Guenther enjoys recreational reading and writing, shopping, performing and singing, and being creative!

I feel each day is a gift when I walk the halls and I hear laughter, giggles and excitement of student’s enjoying their days here at Resurrection!"
“I couldn’t imagine doing anything else at this time in my life. I know that God has put me here for a reason and my job is to be obedient to Him. I do my best to live by Philippians 3:12:14, and having the chance to influence so many young lives has become such a blessing in my life. THANK YOU!"
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:12-14
