Resurrection Christian Academy Preschool offers weekly full-time and part-time availability from 8:30-3:30pm. Eight spaces are offered on both a full time and part time basis. We are closed for the months of July and August. Our program is designed to help your child develop mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually through self-directed play, structured learning, and theme-based activities taught from a Christian perspective. The children enjoy many activities throughout the year that allows them to learn through sensory, fine and gross motor, cognitive/math, language, interest topics, art, Bible, and French.
The RCA preschool will be an extension of your home where your child will be provided a safe, nurturing space. The ability to develop eagerness for learning and the confidence to perform in various activities independently. As well, our preschoolers work hard on developing listening and communication skills and learning to model love and care for one another in the image of God.
French is introduced to our preschool program 4 days a week with an accumulative time of 80 minutes throughout the week, where the children will be taught numbers, colours, simple conversation, animals, alphabet, and body parts through songs, games, and stories. The children quickly grasp an early understanding and develop a love for languages at an early age.
The benefits to having a preschool within our current school go beyond preparing our preschoolers for kindergarten. The JK and SK classroom is right down the hall, which allows our two programs to engage in multi-age interactions, as well as allowing our Kindergarteners to have an informal mentorship of our preschoolers. Lasting, meaningful friendships are more enthusiastically formed when students begin their educational journey at a younger age.
