Lead with Purpose

At RCA, our mission goes beyond academics. We strive to equip our students with the confidence to know who they are and the courage to stand firm in their faith as they step into high school and beyond. As part of this mission, our Grade 8 students embark on a powerful journey of self-discovery, leadership, and spiritual growth.

In their final year, students participate in the Relationship Compass Program, which helps them navigate friendships, identity, and decision-making with wisdom and intention.

The highlight of their RCA experience is the unforgettable Grade 8 trip to Florida—an experience that blends fun, faith, and leadership. Students attend the Student Leadership University (SLU), a four-day Christian leadership program with 22 hours of hands-on learning that challenges them to lead with courage, integrity, and a Christ-centred perspective.

But it’s not all workshops and sessions, this trip is filled with once-in-a-lifetime adventures! From exploring the magic of Disney, to braving the rides and movie sets at Universal Studios, to discovering marine life and thrilling shows at SeaWorld, our students create memories that will last a lifetime.

This life-changing trip is more than a destination; it’s a launching point. Throughout the year, students take ownership of the experience by fundraising through events such as our monthly RCA Tuck Shop, where they learn the value of teamwork and perseverance along the way.

By the time they cross the graduation stage, our Grade 8s are not only ready for high school, they’re ready to lead with faith, purpose, and a sense of adventure that will carry them into whatever comes next.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
