SUPPORT
As a Christian school, RCA receives no government support. This will not change as some of the rules, regulations, and convictions that now govern education in Ontario are alien to the RCA core beliefs and will not be taught at RCA. Although the staff and faculty make significant personal and financial sacrifices in order to be able to teach in a Christian school, RCA needs the support of donors to cover its operating costs.
RCA Walkathon
June 8, 2024
RCA students, parents, grandparents and alumni, join us for the annual RCA Walk-a-Thon fundraiser. As a community we walk in family pods and have a great day. All proceeds go to the RCA athletic, arts and STEM programs. Prizes for all students who raised the most funds will be given. The class with the most money raised gets a class pizza and ice cream party.

Poinsettia Fundraiser
November 6 - 17, 2023
Each year we take orders for some poinsettias. There is a great variety of plants to choose from which we get from a local greenhouse. Families of RCA students, parents, grandparents and alumni, are welcome to order some plants. Plants will ready for pickup on Nov. 29. Each student will have the order forms if you would like to order through them or you can call the office.
Shoe Box Drive
November 13 to 16, 2023
Each year Samaritan"s Purse provides shoe boxes through Operation Christmas Child. RCA helps fill dozens of shoe boxes for needy children in other countries. It is a great project for our students to reach out to help others. This year you can also fill a virtual shoebox.
Angel Giving Drive
November 1 to December 31 each year.
In November of each year RCA reaches out to friends, family, and other supporters to become an RCA Angel through our Angel Giving Drive. This donation drive remains open for the remainder of the year.

Christmas Production
December 21, 2023 at 2 and 6 p.m.
In December each year our talented students and staff put on a great Christmas musical to the delight of family, friends, church and community members. It is a great time to tell the gospel message and provide some fun entertainment as well. This year it will be "A Christmas Carol" and tickets will be $10 at the door.
The children and staff pulled off the musical despite all the illnesses to rave reviews. Thank you to teachers and staff and students for all your hard work to make it happen.

Gala Fundraiser April 26,2024
The 2023 RCA Gala entitled "Setting the Sails for Education" that took take place at the Guelph Cutten Fields was a huge success. It started off with some great piano music from one of our alumni, a night of delicious food, fun games, and fellowship with an exciting Online Auction to help raise funds for our school. We were also treated to some speeches from former and current students and from Mrs. Warren our board chairperson and co-founder (see video below).
This important annual fundraising event helps to bridge the financial gap between what it costs to run the school and affordable tuition for families. Thank you to those RCA families that helped with the event and attended, our alumni RCA families, extended families, and local companies (see below) that joined us for the "Setting the Sails for Education" RCA Gala. Thank you for helping make last year's event a huge success!

Legacy Angels

The RCA Legacy Angels are individuals who have chosen to financially support Resurrection Christian Academy through a bequest or their families who choose to give family and friends the opportunity to support RCA through a donation or in lieu of flowers in memory of their loved one. We are grateful for the financial support that the Legacy Angels provide to us and are honoured to be able to continue their legacy.

Golf Tournament

This year instead of our usual golf marathon at the Victoria Valley Golf Club we had a fantastic standard tournament instead as part of our 10th anniversary celebration weekend.
The day included 18 holes of golf with cart, a continental breakfast and a seated lunch at the end of the tournament. The weather was awesome and it was one of the best tournaments we have ever had and it was enjoyed by all attendees.
